Yea! MONDAY

It has come to my attention that doing it all isn't always gonna look pretty.
I constantly seek balance in my life.
Slicing up the right size of pieces of time for all the components in my life that need it
--my walk with the Lord, my family, our homeschool, my business, my friends & myself.
And it is so easy for things to go awry.
I think I ran out of time last week.
The pie wasn't quite big enough. And the results aren't so pretty.
I wasn't in the Word enough, didn't run enough, grade enough papers, blah, blah, blah.
Thank You, Lord, for Mondays!
When the slate of last week can be wiped clean & we can start over!!
Superhero friends, enjoy Monday for all the potential it holds!
For all we know, this could be the best week ever!

Day Three and I haven't quit yet!

3 days into 30 weeks of training for my first marathon.

I've logged 4.5 miles. No actual running yet, just very brisk walking.

Baby steps....but steps, nonetheless.

Superhero friends, I'm back on track!!!

Yea!!

The Resurrection of a Superhero

Okay...I didn't really die.

I was just distracted.

And a little off course.

For over 2 years!!!

But I'm back!! Due in large part to many of you (all 3 of you, actually) who read this blog back in '05, encourage me in my daily life, and know that I really need the accountability that (strangely enough) a blog provides.

I AM TRAINING FOR A MARATHON! There...I said it. I started a 30 week Hal Higdon Training Program today. The best part...today was REST!!! I love a training program that starts with rest!!

In the time I've been off the public blogging forum alot has happened. So in the next few days & weeks, I'll try to catch you up on that, too.

Superhero friends, it's not too late to join me in training for the Country Music Marathon. Put on your shoes! Let's go!
